President Donald Trump shared on social media renderings of his future presidential library, a high-rise building planned for Miami.

On March 30, Trump posted a video on Truth Social showing a glass tower emblazoned with ‘Trump,” with an American flag draping down the center and a gold-colored entrance adorned with the presidential seal.

The renderings depict an interior that appears to include a replica of the Oval Office and a concept for the White House ballroom. Also displayed inside the building is Air Force One, along with other aircraft.

The interior features a golden-colored escalator and an auditorium, where a golden statue of the president stands prominently on stage with his fist raised.

Bermello Ajamil, an architecture and engineering company based in Miami, was credited in the video as the designer of the presidential library and museum.

Trump told reporters at the White House on March 31 that construction on the presidential library will start after he leaves office. He said the building will likely include a hotel as well as a 747 Air Force One in the lobby.

“I wouldn’t start it until I’m out of office,” he said. “I think you’re going to see a great one here, and it’ll go up on time, on budget. Best location in Miami.”

The president’s son Eric Trump also shared the video of the renderings on his social media account.

“FIRST LOOK: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Library is officially here. Over the past six months, I have poured my heart and soul into this project with my incredible team at @Trump,” Eric Trump wrote on X.

“This landmark on the water in Miami, Florida, will stand as a lasting testament to an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known. These images have never been seen by the public—until today. Enjoy.”

The presidential library is set to be built in Miami-Dade County following the Florida Cabinet’s approval in September 2025 to transfer a 2.63-acre parcel to host the library. Circuit Judge Mavel Ruiz temporarily blocked the land transfer in November after activist Marvin Dunn sued Miami Dade College, though the case was later dismissed.

The land was previously used as a parking lot for employees at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus and is located next to the Freedom Tower, which was a Cuban refugee center in the 1960s and 1970s.

The property is adjacent to condos in a palm-tree-lined section of Biscayne Boulevard, with views of the waterfront park. It is also across the street from the Kaseya Center, where the Miami Heat plays basketball.

In a September 2025 statement, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said the site would open up more “economic development opportunities” in the state and provide Americans a place to honor Trump’s presidential legacy.

Presidential libraries are traditionally used to preserve documents, records, and historical materials once a president leaves office. They are administered by the National Archives and can include event spaces and museum exhibitions related to that president.
