Trump Says He’s Open to a Deal With Democrats on Dreamers

‘I will work with the Democrats on a plan,’ Trump said on Dec. 8 in response to a question on illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children.

President-elect Donald Trump has said he’s open to working with Democratic Party lawmakers to make a deal on allowing Dreamers to stay in the United States.

“I will work with the Democrats on a plan,” Trump said in an interview with “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker that aired on Dec. 8.
