President Donald Trump said on March 17 that pardons issued by his predecessor are no longer in effect because of evidence suggesting that they were signed with an autopen.

The pardons “are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, his social media platform.
