The new-look Republican National Committee (RNC) is adding a veteran of the Trump team to its ranks.

On March 12, Christina Bobb posted on X that she is “honored to be a part of the new team at the RNC.” The same post included a link to a Washington Post article published on March 12, which said Ms. Bobb will join the RNC as a senior counsel for election integrity.
The same report said Chris LaCivita, a senior adviser to former President Donald Trump who’s been endorsed to become the RNC’s chief operating officer, tapped Ms. Bobb for the role.

On March 12, RNC Co-Chair Lara Trump told The Epoch Times the new leadership is making staffing changes at the organization.

For its part, the RNC has yet to formally announce Ms. Bobb’s hiring on its website or social media accounts. Ms. Bobb and the RNC did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Epoch Times.

On March 8, the RNC elected Michael Whatley, formerly chair of the North Carolina Republican Party, to lead the RNC at its spring meeting in Houston. Ms. Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law who also ran unopposed, was elected co-chair. The move formally placed close allies of President Trump in charge of the party committee.

Ms. Bobb, who describes herself as an attorney for President Trump at Save America, is a former member of the Trump administration’s Department of Homeland Security. At the DHS, according to her 2019 profile with the agency, she served as Executive Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security.
After her DHS stint, Ms. Bobb joined One America News Network in June 2020, where she covered the Trump administration at the news organization owned by Herring Networks Inc. She left the network in 2022.

Save America is a qualified leadership political action committee affiliated with President Trump. The PAC, founded in November 2020, paid a large portion of President Trump’s legal bills in 2023, according to FEC records.

FEC records for 2023 indicate that Ms. Bobb was on Save America’s payroll. In January, she was paid about $14,820.

Also in January, Save America spent $3.6 million on legal expenses to numerous firms tied to President Trump’s legal defense.
In January 2023, Ms. Bobb published a book “Stealing Your Vote: The Inside Story of the 2020 Election and What It Means for 2024” with Skyhorse Publishing. Ms. Bobb’s author profile on Amazon.com said she “was [President Trump’s] legal representative onsite during the unprecedented raid by the FBI on Mar-a-Lago.”

The book’s description, also published on Amazon, says it “reveals the ugly truth: the 2020 election was riddled with lying, cheating, stealing, and vote dumping, which disenfranchised millions of Americans and probably swayed the outcome of the election.”

Skyhorse is run by Tony Lyons, who is also the co-founder of American Values 2024. American Values is a hybrid PAC backing independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

President Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee in all but fact after his GOP rivals dropped out of the race, on March 12 officially secured the delegates necessary for the Republican Party’s 2024 nomination. President Joe Biden formally locked up the nomination for the Democratic Party the same day.

The RNC, with Mr. Whatley and Ms. Trump at the helm, has promised to closely align itself with President Trump’s campaign going forward.
