Trump Hosts Brazil’s Lula at White House to Discuss Trade, Regional Security
One pressing issue on the agenda during Lula’s visit is whether Washington will designate Brazil’s two most powerful criminal organizations as terrorist groups.

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump welcomed Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to the White House on May 7 to discuss trade and regional security matters. The leaders are expected to hold a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office, followed by a lunch in the Cabinet Room.
“They will discuss economic and security matters of shared importance,” a White House official told The Epoch Times.
