WASHINGTON—U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to return from China with new deals for the United States made during his trip to Beijing on May 14 and 15, according to the White House.

During his visit, Trump is expected to address challenging topics with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, including rare earth exports, Taiwan, Iran, artificial intelligence, cyber threats, and nuclear programs.
