During a speech on Friday to supporters in Manhattan, former President Donald Trump criticized the prosecutors’ star witness Michael Cohen, who he called a “sleazebag” before criticizing his former lawyer’s plea deal to testify against the real estate mogul.
Mr. Cohen’s testimony was key to the Thursday guilty verdict in the New York trial against President Trump.
