Texas AG Alleges Doctor Provided Banned Gender Treatment to Nearly 2 Dozen Minors

The attorney general’s office is suing a Dallas-area doctor under a Texas law prohibiting gender transition medical interventions for minors.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against a Dallas-area physician, alleging that she illegally provided gender transition treatments to 21 minors in violation of state law.

The lawsuit claims that Dr. May C. Lau prescribed high-dose cross-sex hormones to minors for the purpose of transitioning their biological sex or affirming a gender identity inconsistent with their biological sex.
