A crew of thieves who stole California Lottery Scratchers from 7-Eleven stores were arrested after being caught in the act by detectives, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said April 16.

The crew, three adults and one juvenile, stole $250,000 worth of scratchers during a two-month string of 44 strong-arm robberies, officials said in a press release. They also collected $90,000 from the scratchers.
