Multiple people have been shot near a Ramadan event in West Philadelphia, prompting a significant police response, according to local media reports.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. ET to mark the end of Ramadan near Wyalusing Ave., officials told local news outlets. The number of people who have been injured or killed is not clear, while it is also unclear how many shooters there were.
