Senate Democrats said Tuesday they’ve gathered enough votes to pass a war powers resolution that would curtail Republican President Donald Trump’s military options against Iran as a third GOP senator publicly said he'd support the resolution.
“We now have the 51 votes that we need,” Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) said at a press conference in Washington on Tuesday.
