Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced that no Senate Democrats will object to a bill proposing $2,000 stimulus payments, coming about a week after President Donald Trump called on Congress to include them.

“The House will pass a bill to give Americans $2,000 checks. Then I will move to pass it in the Senate. No Democrats will object. Will Senate Republicans?” he asked on Sunday.
