Multiple investigations are underway after a school safety officer allegedly shot a woman near Millikan High School in Long Beach, California, on Sept. 27.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:13 p.m. when a Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) school safety officer was patrolling around the campus, ensuring safe passage for students leaving Millikan High School. An altercation broke out near Spring Street and Palo Verde Avenue and the school safety officer approached a group of individuals for investigation.
