SAN DIEGO—San Diego County reported 343 new cases of COVID-19 on Oct. 4, but no new virus-related deaths in its most recent data.
The number of COVID-19 patients in county hospitals decreased from 337 on Saturday to 325, with 99 of those patients in intensive care, according to state figures.
