Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the president’s nominee to run the Department of Health and Human Services, confirmed in federal documents he had parted ways with his nonprofit Children’s Health Defense.

In a Jan. 21 ethics agreement, the environmental lawyer and Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) figurehead said he resigned as the organization’s chairman of the board and chief legal counsel last month, before President Donald J. Trump took office.
