Palo Alto and Watsonville municipal airports have received grants from the Federal Aviation Administration to improve infrastructure and safety, the federal agency reported.
Watsonville will receive $1.2 million and Palo Alto will receive $11.05 million, according to the FAA. At Watsonville, the money will be distributed between runway repairs, airfield guidance signs, taxiway repairs and the installation of a runway guidance system.
