MISSION VIEJO, Calif.—City officials are reminding the public on Aug. 8 that they can find homes for any unwanted pets and take advantage of the city’s services, following the discovery of 10 newborn puppies dumped outside Mission Viejo’s animal care center last month.
The puppies were chucked out of a vehicle about 2:30 a.m. July 24 and abandoned in a puppy pool wedged in some bushes near the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, according to city spokeswoman Kelly Tokarski.
