Project Veritas Files Lawsuit Challenging Oregon Law That Prevents Undercover Journalism

Investigative journalism nonprofit Project Veritas on Aug. 24 filed a lawsuit against Oregon’s attorney general and Multnomah County’s district attorney.

The outlet filed the lawsuit against Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum and District Attorney Mike Schmidt in federal court in Portland. It challenges a state law that prohibits filming without first obtaining the permission of all parties.
