CHICAGO—Don Herrian was among the crowds of travelers at Chicago’s O'Hare International Airport on Sunday hoping to make it back home after Thanksgiving as hundreds of flights were delayed and canceled following a winter storm in the Great Lakes region.
“It is what it is,” Herrian said. “It’s congested but that’s expected due to the snow, the delays and the holidays.”
