Police: Homeless Man Breaks Into Bel Air Home, Kills Birds

LOS ANGELES—A 34-year-old homeless man remains in custody June 20 on suspicion of burglary for allegedly breaking into a Bel Air residence, swimming naked in the home’s pool and killing the homeowner’s pet parakeets, authorities said.

Paul Kiyan is being held at downtown Los Angeles’ Twin Towers Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.
