A Frontier Airlines passenger was photographed urinating on the seat in front of him after reportedly verbally and physically harassing two women on the flight.
Flight attendants reportedly moved the man to another seat and told a passenger to observe him and warned her of his previous behavior.
The passenger then photographed the man urinating on the seat in front of him. Witnesses said the man had consumed four alcoholic beverages on the flight.
“The safety and security of our passengers is our top priority at Frontier. We have been made aware of this situation and are working with the appropriate authorities,” said Frontier Airlines in a statement to NBC4i.
A subsequent statement from the airline was sent to Fox: “Frontier has zero tolerance for behavior that affects the safety of our passengers and crew. We are supporting authorities in their investigation.”
“I got a seat on the back of the plane where I could just lay down and fall asleep,” said Emily, who was a passenger on the flight. Her last name was not revealed.
But two hours into the flight, she heard a woman yelling: “If this man touches me one more [expletive] time I'll [expletive] kill him,” Emily said.
“He was out of his mind,” Emily told NBC4i. “Like he couldn’t speak. He was mumbling. This man was extremely intoxicated,” she added.
The flight crew then moved the man to the back of the plane.
“They told me to move over a little bit just in case he tries to reach over and grab me,” Emily said.
She said that he then urinated on the seat in front of him.
“He starts to pee and urinate on the seat in front of him,” she said. “And I scream, ‘He’s [expletive] peeing! He’s peeing! Oh my god!’ And the flight attendant doesn’t even acknowledge him at first. Acknowledges me and says you need to calm down and stop cursing,” she added.
Emily said that she was moved to the front of the plane and given a $200 voucher.
Frontier, she said, didn’t handle the situation well.
“I think they handled it extremely poorly. Someone should have sat with him,” Emily added.
