A pit bull attacked a grandmother in the Bronx, New York, on March 28.

The 57-year-old woman was trying to protect children in a playground from a pit bull with no leash. The pitbull bit her ear and took out a chunk of hair. It also bit her hand. The ear bite crippled her ear, Pix 11 reported. NBC 4 reported that the dog tore the ear off.
