WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump announced on Dec. 18 that an athletic contest and a UFC fight will occur next year in honor of America’s 250th birthday.

The “Patriot Games” will span four days, featuring high school athletes—a male and a female from each state and territory, the president said. He did not go into details as to what would be played or where.
