One Dead, 3 Injured in Florence-Firestone Area Crash

LOS ANGELES—One person was killed and three were critically injured in a fiery two-vehicle crash in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area of Los Angeles, authorities said Dec. 26.

The crash was reported at 10:41 p.m. Monday at 82nd Street and Compton Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Los Angeles County firefighters summoned to the area pronounced one person dead at the scene, firefighter Christian Reynoso told City News Service.

Paramedics took the three critically injured patients to Los Angeles General Medical Center, he said.

Crash details were not immediately available.
