Hundreds were evacuated from their homes and 36 were injured—at least four critically—but no fatalities were reported, after a chemical spill occurred in Weatherford, Oklahoma, late Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Most of the 500 to 600 people who went to a shelter overnight following the spill were allowed to return to their homes on Thursday, according to Weatherford Police Chief Angelo Orefice.
