The Ohio State Senate has unanimously approved legislation outlawing so-called free speech zones, which limit free speech to specific areas on college campuses.

The vote comes almost a year after President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 13864 on March 21, 2019, directing the nation’s colleges and universities to defend free speech on campus or lose federal research funding.
