OC Deputy Shoots and Kills Suspect in Stanton

A deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) fatally shot a man in a parking lot in Stanton, California, on Sept. 18 following a high-speed chase.

The short pursuit ended at approximately 5:20 p.m., after the deputy had attempted to pull the vehicle over, according to an OCSD press release. The vehicle had been reported stolen in Garden Grove earlier that day.
