NYC Times Square New Year’s Show Will Go On Despite Virus Surge: Mayor

The New Year’s show at Times Square in New York City will take place despite a surge in COVID-19 cases, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday.

The event has been scaled back to about 15,000 people, about a quarter of the original plan, but will not be cancelled, according to the Democrat.
