The ninth earthquake in six weeks struck the area bordering Alabama and Florida on April 12.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) recorded the 1.8 magnitude tremor 2.5 miles deep at 11:48 p.m. local time, 5.6 miles northeast of Flomaton, Alabama.
