The new Mabel Mattos Elementary School in Milpitas is welcoming its first students next week. The elementary school is located on 1750 McCandless Drive and has been under planning and construction for years. As of August 7, 2018, its now ready to open its doors after the ribbon cutting event.
The ribbon cutting event marked the official opening of Mabel Mattos Elementary School. Board members, the Mattos family, teachers, staff, friends, family, and children all attended the ribbon cutting event.
