Officials confirmed that no one has died and multiple people have been injured after a gunman, who is in custody, attacked a New Hampshire church on Saturday morning.

Local ABC affiliate WMUR reported that authorities responded to the New England Pentecostal Ministries church in Pelham after 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The area has been sealed off with tape and one reporter has described seeing “heavy police presence.”

The police told the news outlet that there were no fatalities, but it was still not clear how many people were injured.

A “men and women meeting” about domestic abuse was taking place in the church when the shooting happened, according to the church’s event calendar.
The New Hampshire Union Leader reported that the church was also preparing Saturday for the noon funeral services for Luis Alberto Garcia, a local minister who was shot and killed at his home on Oct. 1. Police are turning the mourners away following the shooting, telling them there would be no funeral today.
“State officials are on scene assisting local first responders in the response and investigation of a shooting in Pelham, NH,” Gov. Chris Sununu said in a tweet. “While this remains a very active scene, the State of New Hampshire will provide all necessary resources to support the community and our local partners.”
The NYPD Counter-terrorism Bureau wrote in a tweet that it is following the developments of the investigation.
