Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein’s sex crimes retrial in a Manhattan court ended abruptly on June 12 after the jury foreperson refused to continue deliberations, prompting the judge to declare a mistrial on the remaining rape charge.

The sudden decision Thursday came just a day after jurors on June 11 delivered a split verdict on the other charges, convicting the 73-year-old Weinstein of forcibly subjecting a woman to a criminal sex act in 2006 but acquitting him of assaulting another woman that same year. The third rape charge, which dates back to 2013, was the the subject of deliberations on Thursday before a jury room feud led to a mistrial.
