House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) told Fox host Maria Bartiromo he would “not be deterred” by threats to vacate him from the speaker’s seat.
“If you did a motion to vacate, you would have to have a handful of Republicans work with Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, Ilhan Omar, to remove the Speaker, and it would be exactly what the president wants,” he said in the Sunday morning interview.
