POMONA, Calif.—A man and a woman were killed Sept. 9 in a Pomona shooting.

The shooting was reported at 4:08 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Thomas Street, according to Pomona police Sgt. Jaime Martinez.

“Detectives believe this to be an isolated incident, with no greater threat to the community.”

An investigation by homicide detectives was underway, Ms. Martinez said.
