California Man Gets 50 Years to Life for Stabbing Girlfriend 20 Times

The victim’s children, ages 4 and 7, witnessed the February 2023 attack and ran to a neighbor for help, prosecutors said.

A man who stabbed his girlfriend more than 20 times in front of her children in Escondido, Calif., was sentenced May 29 to 50 years to life in state prison.

Escondido is in northern San Diego County.
