Man Charged With Drugging, Sexually Assaulting Women, Including One Who Died

In a statement announcing the charges, District Attorney George Gascón encouraged anyone with information to come forward.

LOS ANGELES—A South Bay man who allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted seven women at his homes in Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach, including one who died as a result of the alleged drugging, has been charged with 18 felony counts, including murder and rape by use of a drug.

Michael DiGiorgio, 50, appeared Friday in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom and was ordered to return to court Nov. 6 for arraignment.
