Los Angeles Unified Schools Outside Mandatory Evacuation Zones to Reopen Monday

Pasadena-area schools, east of Los Angeles, and Malibu to the west, remain closed.

LOS ANGELES—Los Angeles Unified School District officials said they will reopen the vast majority of its schools and all offices Monday after closing last week.

“Conditions have improved for a majority of areas across the Los Angeles region and the District is confident it is safe for students and employees to return to campuses,” the statement said.
