Longest Prison Sentence in College Bribery Scandal Handed Down by Court

A parent indicted in the nationwide college bribery scandal was sentenced to six months in prison, the longest sentence handed down by a court so far in the scheme.

Toby MacFarlane, 56, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud earlier this year.
