The U.S. National Hurricane Center is monitoring several disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean and the northeastern Pacific Ocean.

Kirk, once a tropical storm, has dissipated and now remains as a tropical wave about 1,400 miles east of the Windward Islands, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC).The agency said that the storm could possible re-develop into a tropical storm or depression in the coming days as it approaches the Caribbean Sea.
