President Donald Trump has wrapped up a high-stakes two-day summit in China with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing. During the visit, Trump and his team discussed a broad spectrum of issues, from new purchase commitments to the tense situations in Iran and Taiwan, as well as wrongful detentions and human rights concerns.

During the trip, Trump was welcomed on May 14 with a grand ceremony outside the Great Hall of the People on the edge of Tiananmen Square, where Chinese authorities violently suppressed the 1989 pro-democracy movement in what is known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre.
