Former New York police officer Thomas Webster was convicted on May 2 on six charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol.
Jurors found Webster, 56, guilty of assaulting law enforcement officers, civil disorder, and engaging in physical violence on Capitol grounds, among other counts.
