A Wisconsin judge has ruled that the men allegedly shot by Kyle Rittenhouse can be referred to as “rioters,” but not as “victims” at the upcoming high-profile trial.

The case involves then-17-year-old Rittenhouse in the shooting deaths of two white men and the wounding of another after a Black Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Rittenhouse claims that the shooting was in self-defense. The protest followed the shooting death of Jacob Blake, a black man, by a white police officer.
