Top White House aide Stephen Miller said on May 29 that the Trump administration is aiming to significantly increase the number of daily arrests of illegal immigrants in an effort to reverse years of mass illegal immigration into the country.
Over the first 100 days of the Trump administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested more than 66,000 illegal immigrants, or about 650 arrests per day, according to an April 29 update from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
