The Royal Ice Cream Company on Wednesday said it is recalling products in nine states because of the possibility they were contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause sometimes fatal illnesses in certain individuals.
All recalled products have the manufacturing plant number “CT121” or “CT#121,” according to the company, according to a bulletin posted Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
