ICE Arrests Illegal Immigrant Who Threatened to Assassinate Trump

The Mexican national with a criminal history was taken into custody after ICE intercepted a handwritten confession.

An illegal immigrant who allegedly threatened to kill President Donald Trump before self-deporting to Mexico has been arrested, according to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who denounced rhetoric from left-leaning media and politicians for fueling such incidents.

Noem said in a May 28 statement that agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 54-year-old Mexican national Ramon Morales Reyes after an ICE field intelligence officer received a handwritten letter from Reyes indicating his intention to self-deport after shooting Trump in the head at a rally.
