Federal immigration officers arrested nine illegal immigrants with criminal records in an enforcement operation on Manhattan’s Canal Street on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The immigration operation started just after 4 p.m. as agents targeted street vendors known for selling imitation luxury accessories, watches, scents, electronics, and other items on the iconic street in Chinatown.
