The House is considering whether to proceed with a bill to fund most of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), excluding immigration enforcement operations, after the Senate passed the measure in the early hours of Friday.

This comes amid a 42-day shutdown that has resulted in long Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) lines at airports nationwide.
