House Passes Tax Bill, Taking a Big Step Toward Tax Reform

WASHINGTON—The U.S. House of Representatives passed a sweeping tax bill, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, on Nov. 16.

The Republican-controlled House passed the bill by a vote of 227–205.
