A growing group of A-list actors, performers, and Hollywood producers are funding Democrat Adam Frisch’s campaign to unseat conservative Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.).

The donors include movie actor Ryan Reynolds, singing legend Barbra Streisand, and Hollywood producer Rob Reiner, known in his early career for his character as Meathead in “All In The Family” and later as director of the movies “The Princess Bride” and “A Few Good Men.”

Ms. Streisand recently told “60 Minutes” that she plans to move out of the United States if Donald Trump is elected as president.

Big-name entertainment executives are also backing Mr. Frisch, including CBS’s former Chairwoman Nina Tassler, who now owns Patma Productions, an independent production company in which CBS recently purchased part ownership.

The Hollywood A-listers donated to Mr. Frisch under the Adam For Congress PAC.

The campaign seems to be helping Mr. Frisch, who is a friend of Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.).

Mr. Phillips is challenging President Joe Biden for the Democratic Party’s 2024 nomination. He and Mr. Frisch grew up together in Minnesota, where Mr. Frisch’s father, a gynecologist, worked for Planned Parenthood.

According to the Federal Elections Commission (FEC), as of Sept. 30, Mr. Frisch has raised $7,769,641.43 compared with Ms. Boebert’s $2,434,743.58.

Ms. Boebert told The Epoch Times that she is not surprised by the Hollywood attention Mr. Frish is receiving.

“It’s no surprise the Hollywood elite and progressive celebrities are donating gobs of money to my wealthy opponent, as I fight every day for everything they hate and fear: our cherished individual freedoms, rural America’s way of life, and our deep love of God and country. Aspen Adam has much more in common with Barbra Streisand than the ranchers, farmers, veterans, and rural families I work for every day in the 3rd District; no amount of money from California will change that fact.”

Ms. Boebert, who has accused Mr. Frisch of taking dark money from Open Society Foundations founder George Soros, responded on X to the growing list of celebs working against her.

“If we lose Colorado’s 3rd District, the House is in MAJOR jeopardy of falling into Democrat hands,” she wrote.

On Dec. 4, the group Occupy Democrats posted a celebratory comment on X about the A-list actors ganging up against Ms. Boebert.

“MAGA Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is hit with nuclear bad news as Hollywood A-listers line up in droves to support her opponent Adam Frisch’s campaign—raking in massive amounts of cash for the Democrat,” it posted.

“Lauren ‘The Groper’ Boebert should start packing her bags now...”

“The Groper” label refers to alleged inappropriate public behavior Ms. Boebert engaged in with her date during a “Beetlejuice: The Musical” performance at the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre in Denver.

Ms. Boebert was caught on camera also vaping. She and her date Quinn Gallagher were ejected from the theater. Quinn, who owns a bar in Aspen, Florida, has since been identified in several media reports as a Democrat.

Other celebs who donated to the Frisch campaign include rocker Don Henley of The Eagles. Mr. Henley, whose hits include “Dirty Laundry,” a slam against the news media for sensationalizing tragedies, had his own public embarrassment in the 1980s when a naked, 16-year-old girl was discovered at his home during a band party.

She told police and fire officials she had been fed quaaludes and cocaine.

Mr. Henley has said repeatedly that he never touched the girl and that he was “young and stupid” to have had her at his home.

Ironically, the now 76-year-old Henley who was 34 at the time of the incident, was around the same age that Ms. Boebert is now.

In addition to attacking the 36-year-old firebrand for her recent behavior, Democrats also berate Boebert for opposing transgender ideology.

Ms. Boebert came under special fire by LGBTQ+ advocates when she described as “delusional” Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness Shawn Skelly, a biological male who identifies as a woman.

“As DOD’s highest-ranking trans official, this delusional man thinking he is a woman embodies and espouses the woke-ism that’s causing, significant harm to our military readiness and troops’ morale,” she said during testimony at a congressional hearing on the Department of Defense’s proposed 2024 budget.

Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) called Ms. Boebert a “hateful bigot” in 2020 when she responded to the swearing-in of Dr. Rachel Levine, a transwoman, as U.S. Assistant Secretary of Health, with the tweet, “Welcome to woke medicine, America.”

Ms. Boebert also filed articles of impeachment against President Biden and heckled him during his State of the Union address this past May.

Others supporting Mr. Frisch include Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame honoree Roseanne Cash, daughter of the late country singer Johnny Cash.

“Hoffa” movie producer Caldecot Chubb, actress Heather Thomas of  TV’s “The Fall Guy,” director Dean Hargrove (“Matlock”),  producer Gale Anne Hurd (“The Incredible Hulk”), and singer Jackson Browne are also listed on FEC records as donating to Mr. Frisch.

Mr. Frisch himself has a derogatory description of Ms. Boebert, calling her part of the ‘angertainment industry,’ a phrase he said he borrowed from Mr. Phillips.

Mr. Frisch lost to Ms. Boebert in 2022 by only 546 votes. Over the summer, Colorado Democrats launched Project 546, a campaign to unseat her.

In a statement, Colorado Republican Party Chair Dave Williams called the effort to oust Ms. Boebert  “delusional, unrealistic,”  and a “waste of time, energy, resources and donor dollars.“

A Democrat has not held Colorado’s 3rd District Seat since 2010.

“When the dust settles after Democrats are done tilting at windmills, voters on the front range will deliver them losses in 2024 alongside the same rural voters who won’t forget how Democrats have been at war with them for years,” said Mr. Williams.

Mr. Frisch’s political experience includes serving on the Aspen City Council. He also chaired a county financial review committee and worked as a waiter in Manhattan. Ms. Boebert once worked for McDonald’s and with her former husband’s natural gas consulting firm.

For a short time, she ran a gun-themed restaurant called Shooters Grill in her hometown of Rifle, Colorado.

It closed in 2022 after the building’s owner opted not to renew the cafe’s lease. Ms. Boebert, whose divorce from Jayson Boebert was finalized in October, has four children. Mr. Frisch has two children and is married.

In addition to facing Mr. Frisch in next year’s general election, Ms. Boebert faces a primary challenge by Republican Jeff Hurd, an attorney.

Mr. Hurd, who declared his candidacy in August, has raised about $415,000.
