Discovery Day at the Farm
Families with children of all ages are invited to learn about farm animals at the Orange County Fair and Event Center’s Centennial Farm. The event features “farmers” stationed around the farm who can answer questions and provide information, including education on a chick’s development process, oxen demonstrations, bunnies, goats, sheep, and more.33rd Annual Spring Garden Show
This show centers around a vibrant 25-foot floral centerpiece at South Coast Plaza Mall with other garden installations and sculptures using a variety of flowers and plants including orchids, succulents, roses, and more.Vendors and artists will be present throughout the shopping center showcasing unique plants, flowers, garden supplies, and artwork for sale or to admire for a limited time.

Earth Day Celebration: Story Time and Beach Cleanup
Celebrate Earth Day this weekend with story time and volunteer opportunities with the Laguna Art Museum. Festivities include a reading of “My Friend Earth” by Patricia MacLachlan, followed by a presentation and book signing by Rich German for his book “Blue Laguna,” followed by a beach cleanup.All supplies for the cleanup will be provided, and participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothes and shoes for the event.
Shops at Rossmoor Earth Day Celebration
This family-friendly event features Earth Day-themed crafts, face painting, balloon twisting using biodegradable latex balloons, and more.Participants are invited to “discover the magic of growing” by participating in an interactive planting activity. There will also be eco-friendly giveaways and photo opportunities with the event’s sea turtle mascot.

Tanaka Farms Strawberry Picking Tour
Take a wagon ride around the farm while learning about farming methods and the location’s history with a friendly tour guide. Attendees will see how fruits and vegetables grow, pick a seasonal vegetable, and end the tour at the strawberry patch to pick and eat strawberries.Everyone will take home a one-pound basket of strawberries.
